Blogger's Bazaar 2011
It's already been three weeks since our Saint-Denis shop welcomed Montreal's fashion mavens for an exclusive evening of style, food and music. Masterminded by yourkloset.com, the second edition of the Blogger's Bazaar showcased the exciting wares of GlobLove, Native Shoes, Ragwear, Snow Image, Jennifer Laoun-Rubenstein, SAS Handbags, Tat Design & Zanerobe. With catering provided by the best of the best: 753bt, 8 Catering, Angelica and a to-die-for live performance courtesy of G’Nee and Her Kings & World of Love Recordz, it's safe to say that the event will keep all who attended buzzing for months!
All of us at Georges Laoun Opticien were thrilled to be part of the magic and send out heartfelt congratulations to all the participants who put in countless hours to make this event fabulous!
For those who were there, here are some memories to smile upon. For those who weren't, we think these photos will make you wish you were:
A packed house!
This little number from SAS Handbags shows us that vegan fashion doesn't mean compromising style.
Mylène Laoun, buyer for Georges Laoun Opticien, brought her personal collection of eyewear to show the history of the cutting-edge frames that our shops have carried since the 80s. Lolitta Dandoy,Patrick Gagné and Dominique Clark are just a few of our guests who were mesmerized by the artistry.
Even fashion mogul Eva Friede (The Gazette) was not impervious to our avant-garde specs and tries a pair with Mylène.
Here I am with the lovely Lolitta Dandoy (Clin d'oeil).

It's not just the ladies who played dress-up. This dapper gentleman also tried on a few frames.
